The Minuteman Stinger Rocket Stove is a 3/4 scale, reduced size, version of our popular "K" Rocket Stove. At 15" tall and weighing 10 lbs, the Stinger is compact and easy to transport and store. It is the perfect rocket stove to use with standard size kitchen cookware and gives power on par with one burner camping stoves such as Coleman's Peak 1. Constructed of 1/8" steel tubing , The Stinger does not sacrifice any durability compared to our other stoves and will last virtually forever if properly maintained. You can boil and cook with up to approximately a 8 quart (2 gallon) covered pot with no difficulties.The 7.5" cooking eye and wide base provide a stable cooking surface. The angled feed tube makes the Stinger easy to feed and holds a large amount of fuel. The Minuteman Stinger is perfect when cooking for small groups of 2 to 4 or as an individual stove. In testing, we easily boiled a standard 2.5 quart kettle in approximately 12 minutes. Cooking on cast iron pans up to 12" is no problem. The perfectly balanced and sturdy carry handle makes carrying the Stinger a breeze.
